In the Heart of Nature: Our IOCOD Unwind 2025 Story
A team trip hits different when the signal bars drop to zero. Some journeys make you breathe a little deeper. No rushing to be anywhere, no loud crowd around you, no restless noise. Only trees, open spaces, birds, and clean air. That was IOCOD Unwind 2025.

Destination: Wild Planet Jungle Resort, Devala
Before we even got packing, the HR team gave us a heads-up: “Don’t depend on your phones. There’s no network out there.” The lounge had Wi-Fi, but calling it weak would be generous.
Nature was clearly taking charge, and the resort looked so beautiful that nobody complained.
The Journey Begins
We started on the morning of 15th November, half sleepy, half excited. But the moment we stepped into the bus, the energy lit up. Singing, dancing, joking around... the kind of chaos that makes you forget it’s literally 6 AM.
By the time we got close to the resort, our phones had given up trying to find signal.
A Warm Welcome & Into the Rainforest
Welcomed with cool drinks and fresh air, we jumped straight into the rainforest trek.
The path led us through tall trees, soft light, and the sounds of the jungle settling in for the day. Our guide pointed out plants, small creatures, and stories of wild animals in the periphery of the resort which we would've never known or noticed. It was the first moment we truly felt disconnected from the world and connected to the space around us.
Rooms, Views & A Buffet That Deserves Its Own Award
After the trek, we explored our rooms: different types, all cozy, and all with views.
And then came the all-you-can-eat buffet! From breakfast to dinner, the variety was wild. For many of us, this buffet quickly moved to the top of the “best part of the trip” list.
Games, Laughter & Everyone’s Inner Child
Post-lunch was about pure fun.
Sack race? Yes.
Longest line challenge? Absolutely.
Suddenly we were all competitive 10-year-olds again.
Afterward, the team scattered to explore. Some went swimming with a view that looked like a movie scene. Others tried kayaking, ziplining, monkey crawling, and a bunch of other things that instantly woke up our adventurous side.
In the evening, we stopped for tea and snacks (because obviously, calories don’t count on trips).
Evening Fun: Games, Campfire & Good Vibes
By evening, we shifted to indoor games at the banquet hall: mummy-making with tissue rolls (strangely impressive results), word challenges, and a mini talent showcase with team members singing their hearts out.
We ended the day with a cozy campfire and a yummy dinner.
Slow Mornings, Photo Sessions & Last-Minute Fun
The next morning brought a calm start: a good breakfast, soft walks through the greenery, and a few more laps in the pool. A team photo was important to all of us, so we took pictures and drone shots from the hanging bridge.
Even after checking out, we lingered for indoor games, stretching out the last moments of the trip as much as we could.
Goodbyes, Phone Signals & A Little Realization
As we left and the network slowly returned, everyone’s phones came back to life. Notifications rolled in, but so did the photos on Instagram.
Unplugging was a gain. More space to laugh, explore, breathe, and really connect... with nature, with each other, and with ourselves.
A Heart Full of Memories (and… Okay, a Few Extra Pounds)
Wild Planet had something for every kind of person: the adventurer, the calm soul, the foodie, the wanderer, the chatterbox. And somewhere between trekking, eating, competing, splashing, and laughing, our team just felt even more connected than before.
We came back with a gallery full of photos and stories we’ll tell at lunch for months. And yes… we might have gained a few pounds (thanks to the irresistible food), but our hearts? Completely full.
It was the kind of trip that fills you up in all the right ways and reminds you what it feels like to simply enjoy the moment. Now we’re already wondering one thing: where are we going next year?
